Watches Spotted At the Grammy Awards 2023

February 5, 2023, marked one of the greatest evenings in the music sector, with performances by several incredible musicians, including DJ Khaled, Jay Z, and Harry Styles, among others. The 65th Grammy Awards was recently hosted at the Crypto.com Arena (previously the Staples Center) in Los Angeles. Trevor Noah, an actor, comedian, and producer, also served as the event’s mc for the 3rd consecutive year. 

Apart from the spectacular performances, the ceremony featured guests’ wearing expensive timepieces. Most of these watches were from worldwide renowned brands, including Patek Philippe, Rolex, and Audemars Piguet, among others. 

Here’s thus a list of the timepieces observed on celebrities’ wrists at the 65th Grammy Awards: 

• Patek Philippe Nautilus 18k Rose Gold (Trevor Noah)

Comedian and three-time speaker Trevor Noah hosted the 2023 Grammy Awards’ opening ceremony. Besides his Gucci appearance, he wore his Patek Philippe Nautilus 18k Rose Gold watch on stage.

Baguette diamonds surround the bezel of this rare piece, which also has diamond hour markers. Moreover, this straightforward three-hand watch has a date window at three o’clock spot.

• Patek Philippe Grandmaster Chime (Jay Z)

For the first time since 2014, Jay Z recently appeared on stage to deliver his much-discussed vocal on DJ Khaled’s Grammy-nominated song “God Did.” He was also present to cheer his spouse Beyonce as she made a Grammy record in 2023.

Jay Z was spotted wearing a stunning Patek Philippe Grandmaster Chime with a black dial on his wrist. This clock really stole the show. It blends a sense of success and beauty, two qualities that Jay Z can undoubtedly be credited with, and is certainly the most intricate watch in Patek Philippe’s line. Moreover, this watch features a dual-faced, reversible timepiece with up to 20 complexities. 

• Rolex Oyster Perpetual Stainless Steel Turquoise 41mm (Kendrick Lamar)

Along with Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers, Kendrick Lamar joined the winner’s stage this year by taking home the 2023 Grammy Award for Best Rap Album. Nevertheless, his Rolex Oyster Perpetual Stainless Steel Turquoise 41mm caught the attention of many watch lovers while he was making his victory speech. 

Although it is currently a discontinued version, the watch appeared to be distinctive from afar and perfectly complemented the color pattern on Kendrick’s jacket.

• Richard Mille RM 88 Smiley Tourbillon (Pharrell Williams)

When Pharrell Williams didn’t win any prizes at the 2023 Annual Grammy Awards, he and his partner made a fashion statement by donning identical leather tracksuits. Helen Lasichanh donned all black, whereas Pharrell was dressed in red. 

Richard Mille RM 88 Smiley Tourbillon was an outstanding edition that went well with Pharrell’s outfit. In short, it was a suitable timepiece for a performer who dropped the top-charting hit “happy.”

Rick Ross, the Grammy-nominated Rapper, performed the song “God Did” with DJ Khaled, Fridayy, Jay Z, and John Legend. He also spoke on commemorating Fifty years of Hip-Hop. 

The Jacob & Co. The Mysterious Tourbillon White Diamonds and Rubies was the perfect accessory for Rick Ross’s outfit. He wore a sparkling silver suit jacket, frameless sunglasses, a black bowtie, and a nicely groomed beard.

• Rolex Daytona “Eye of the Tiger” Yellow Gold Diamond-set (DJ Khaled)

Of course, the Grammys event wouldn’t be complete without a wrist-check from Dj Khaled. His two children and spouse donned leopard print ensembles in an effort to stand out from the crowd for the 2023 Grammy Awards. On the other hand, Khaled himself went all black.

In addition, Dj Khaled donned the yellow gold, diamond-set Rolex Daytona “Eye of the Tiger” to complement his family. Rolex Daytona has been given a bejeweled revamp in this watch, which also features diamond hour markings, a tiger pattern dial, and a gem-set yellow-golden bezel featuring 36 trapeze-trimmed diamonds. Up to 243 diamonds are included in the timepiece. Moreover, the dial is covered with diamonds, although the sub-counters are left unadorned, allowing it to stick out and remain easy to read.
