Italian Rapper Sfera Ebbasta`s Great Watch Collection

Sfera Ebbasta, or Gionata Boschetti (birth name), is one of the greatest rappers in Italy whose break-through came back in 2015 with the release of album XDVR. The Milanese born trap rapper  also  holds the record for most songs reaching #1 in the country (20), and was the best-selling artist in Italy in the 2010 decade.

Boschetti is also a reknown watch lover and has many different timepieces. Here are some of them:

• Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Perpetual Calendar Ref. 26579CB.OO.1225CB.01

A watch that is often seen on the wrist of Gionata is the 41mm Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Perpetual Calendar. Crafted in hand-finished white ceramic, this beauty features day, date, month, astronomical moon, and week of the year. The leap year indication is also featured on the “Grande Tapisserie” decorated dial.

Its case has a glareproofed sapphire crystal and caseback, and it features a screw-locked crown. The watch is water-resistant to 20m.

• Rolex GMT-Master “Root Beer” Ref. 126711CHNR

The Rolex GMT Master II “Root Beer”, another favourite timepiece of the rapper, is one of Rolex’s most distinctive watches and a definately a favorite of many watch lovers.

The 40mm case is both solid and slim, furthermore features a cerachrom bezel, named the current “Root Beer” arrangement, since it has a combination of black and brown ceramic. It is water-resistant to 100 meters and has  a triplock screw-down crown similar to those present on Rolex Submariner variants.

The GMT Master II’s triple seal system is highly durable and secure, prompting many to assume it can go deeper than its specified requirements.

• Jacob and Co. Five Time Zone  Ref. JC-1

The stainless steel 48mm Jacob and Co. Five Time Zone is one of the American luxury watch company´s early models and has been set with diamonds on the bezel and yellow, blue, pink and black sapphires on the dial.

It is presented on a pink strap and features a Swiss quartz ETA movement. The  “Mother Of Pearl” dial has five time zones and a date indicator.

• Rolex Cosmograph Daytona Ref. 116508-0013

The emerald-colored green dial has three subdials, which is the absolute charachteristics of the Daytona watch. Its bezel features a tachymetric scale to read average speed over a given distance based on elapsed time, since  the model´s heritage comes from car-racing.

• Iced Out Rolex Oyster Datejust Blue Arabic Dial

A watch that rarely is worn by Sfera, but a part of his collection, is the stainless steel Rolex Datejust, that measures 41 mm in with and features a case and bracelet set with VS1 round white diamonds.

The dial color is Ice-Blue and its markers are Arabic-Hindu. The watch is presented on a presidential bracelet.

• Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Double Balance Wheel Openworked Ref. 15407ST.OO.1220ST.01

Sfera´s Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Double Balance Wheel Openworked features a 40 mm stainless steel case, housing a a grey skeletonized dial with pink gold applied hour-markers.

The model is known for its extreme precision and stability abilities due to the second balance wheel and balance-spring assembly on the same axis.

• Rolex Day-Date Meteorite Diamond Dial Ref. 228349RBR-0040

Of of the newest addition to his collection is the fantastic 40 mm Rolex Day-Date “Meteorite” Oyster Perpetual in 18-carat white gold with a presidential bracelet.

The beautiful meteorite dial features baguette-cut diamonds hour markers and it houses a bezel that has been factory set with baguette-cut diamonds.

• Patek Philippe Aqanaut “Khaki Green & Tropical” Ref. 5168G-010
  -010

In the photo belov he wears a 18-carat white gold Patek Philippe that case the width of 42 mm and houses a green Arabic khaki dial on a ‘tropical’ style rubber strap.

The timepiece is powered by the self-winding in-house caliber 324SC that features hours, minutes, seconds , date and the numbers of this particular aquanaut model is believed to be very low.

Bottom Line

These models represent just a few of the watches in Gionata´s collection. But we can all agree on that the variation of his assembly is big. Personally, I`m not the biggest fan of Iced Out timepieces… so it is very refreshing to see a rapper who doesn´t ice out his timepieces beyond recognition.
