Extremly rare vintage Patek Philippe World Time from the 1940s

Late Gianni Agnelli ‘L’Avvocato’, who was the richest man in modern Italian history, wore in this photo an extremly rare vintage 31mm Patekphilippe World Time in 18k pink gold from the 1940s.

The revolving bezel is engraved with enamel names of 42 cities from around the world in French and the reference 1415HU (Heure Universelle), was originally called the “Round-the-World Timer” or the “World-Wide Time Watch”. It was introduced to the market in 1939 and remained in production until 1954.

Price: unknown and almost impossible to find this exact example on the market but the same model was sold at an auction in 2007 for $580,000.00.
