The last Shah/King of the Imperial State of Iran, late Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, is in this photo from the 70s wearing a very rare Audemars Piguet ‘Cobra’ in 18k white gold.
The sunburst blue dial features factory set diamond hour markers with double diamond index at the 12 o’clock position. The 18k white case gold bracelet has hallmarks, and thus gives the watch a ‘Cobra’ appearance.
