The Crown Prince of Ajman – Rolex Daytona with a ‘Quraysh Hawk Dial’

The Crown Prince of Ajman, is wearing a very rare stainless steel 37,5mm Rolex Daytona Chronograph with a ‘Quraysh Hawk Dial’, made for former Dubai ruler Mohammed Bin Al Maktoum Rashid.

Starting at the beginning of the 1970’s, the United Arab Emirates commissioned watches from Rolex to give as gifts to “important’ people”. In the unique dial of this example you can see the hawk’s feet that rest on top of the ruler of Dubai’s signature ‘Mohammed bin Rashid Al Makhtoum’. Above 6 o’clock the Emir’s name is also signed.

Price: very hard to determine but an example was sold at auction a few years ago for $700,000.00 USD
