The 47 year old American musician, record producer and entrepreneur Pharrell Williams; is wearing a 44mm black ceramic Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Concept Carbon.

The design of this watch is done by the same people behind Richard Mille and features a black skeleton dial with a linear chronograph and tourbillon.

Pharrell Williams is the eldest of three sons of carpenter Pharaoh Williams and teacher Carolyn Williams. In seventh grade, Williams befriended Chad Hugo. They started working together mixing mix beats and playing in different local bands. In 1992, when the two went to different high schools in Virginia Beach, they released their first song, Rump Shaker. Later, they also began writing songs for famous hip-hop artists, such as the N.O.R.E. (Noreaga), SWV, Total and Mase.

In 2002, Williams wrote and produced rapper Nelly’s single Hot In Here. The single topped the charts in the US and UK. He later repeated the success of producing the song I’m a Slave 4 U for Britney Spears. However, it was not until the summer of 2003 that Pharrell released his first solo single, Frontin ‘with Jay-Z.
