Nicolas Cage – Rolex Moonphase Triple Calendar

American actor Nicolas Cage is in this picture from 2002 wearing an 18k gold 36mm Rolex Moonphase Triple Calendar with a star-dial reference 6062. It is unknown if this watch is still in his possession.

The timepiece is desired for its extreme rarity and complexity why it’s almost never for sale, and a price is therefor very hard to set, but one was sold at an auction in Geneva 2015 for $1,280,000 USD.

During his early career, Cage starred in a variety of films such as Rumble Fish (1983), Valley Girl (1983), Racing with the Moon (1984), Birdy (1984), Peggy Sue Got Married (1986), Raising Arizona (1987), Moonstruck (1987), Vampire’s Kiss (1989), Wild at Heart (1990), Honeymoon in Vegas (1992), and Red Rock West (1993).

He found a wider audience when he started starring in mainstream films, such as The Rock (1996), Face/Off (1997), Con Air (1997), City of Angels (1998), National Treasure (2004), Lord of War (2005), Ghost Rider (2007), National Treasure: Book of Secrets (2007) and Knowing (2009).
