Overall Review

The “Moonwatch” Omega Speedmaster Professional Chronograph is undoubtedly among the best in terms of history, artistry, and quality. One of Omega’s most recognizable watches is, of course, the Speedmaster Moonwatch, and for a good reason. This renowned Speedmaster is an astounding testament to the company’s bold revolutionary attitude and exceptional craftsmanship, having participated in all 6 lunar expeditions.

Also, this “Moonwatch” Omega Speedmaster Professional Chronograph has a striking black dial featuring a sapphire crystal that resists scratches. Other features are a tiny seconds sub-dial, 30-minute and 12-hour recorders, and a Chrono pointer in the middle. In addition, a tachymetric scale is shown on a black bezel to provide a more precise assessment of acceleration depending on the time spent traveling a set distance.

The exploration display on the case back allows you to see one of the most amazing movements you have ever seen, the renowned Calibre Omega 1863. It is featured on the rear of the watch together with the extremely scratch-resistant sapphire crystal glass. The mechanical winding Chrono movement has a staggering 48-hour power reserve if completely wound. That is excellent quality as this movement has been tested beyond comparison and emerged unscathed.

Furthermore, the watch has a shaft featuring a straight-line gear, 18 jewels, as well as a shock absorber. The caliber also includes an indicator adjuster, a self-compensating flattening balancing spring, with a monometallic balancer. It vibrates at a 21,600 vph frequency (3 Hz). The movement’s high level of polish actually goes above and beyond what the Sapphire sandwich is expected to deliver. Besides, every edge is flawlessly refined, almost to the point of appearing hand-decorated.

The “Moonwatch” Omega Speedmaster Professional Chronograph fulfills the promise of the mythology that we have all come to adore. In addition, it has been updated for the user of today and is regarded as among the greatest pieces produced to date. It’s the product you can feel at ease wearing, one you will not be concerned about, adore, and one that will be a priceless personal legacy.

The stainless steel band also included with the Omega Speedmaster is the same bracelet that is used with all other Speedmaster variants. The dial is matte black, with a rich feel, and features white writing inscribed on it. It is a mechanical wind chronograph. However, the caseback is transparent so that you can see the magnificent 1863 Chronograph movement.

Ultimately, this watch fits the wrist well because of its comfy 42mm casing diameter. Generally, it is slim, stylish, sporty, and well, it is all that you would expect in a high-end watch.
