About the Watch

The emerald green dial with sunbursts is stunning. The color was created specifically for the timepiece, and the vulcanized rubber strap with a rose gold pin buckle. A white minutes/seconds line follows the asymmetrical outlines of the casing on the dial’s edge. The rose gold hour indicators, hour and minute hands, and a gold-framed date window right above the circular hour marker at 6 o’clock are coated with Super-LumiNova. At noon, the brand name emerges.

The steel Gerald Charles Maestro 2.0 Automatic, with its 40mm emerald green case and nearly 8mm slimness, exudes casual appeal and elegance. This is in line with Monsieur Genta’s artistic vision. The piece has a hand-finished, ultra-thin manufacturing mechanical caliber, a sunburst-finished dial, and vulcanized rubber straps with the Clous de Paris design cast intriguing reflections over the wrist.

The Gerald Charles Maestro 2.0 is equipped with a highly advanced and dependable Calibre, a 3.7mm thickness with the date and time features. It also has excellent levels of accuracy, vibration and shock resistance, and a 50-hour power reserve. Furthermore, it features a high-quality bi-directional spinning rotor supported by a low-friction ceramic ball bearing system.

However, the lower half, which is similarly rounded, has a peculiar indentation influenced by Borromini’s extravagant design.

Considering the 18k rose gold case’s robust layout, the watch’s length has been reduced by 3mm, resulting in a small casing height of only 8.7mm. To accomplish this slimness, the flange enclosing the dial was decreased, while the lugs were reworked to provide a flatter form that sits flush on the wrist.
