Limited Rolex “Pro Hunter Orange Milgauss” featuring an orange lightning hand

Rapper Guè is wearing the 100 pieces limited 40mm Rolex “Pro Hunter Orange Milgauss” featuring an orange lightning hand and orange markers where the case and bracelet have been treated with black ‘Pro Hunter’ DLC finish. The Milgauss is named after “mille” (thousand) and “gauss,” the unit of measurement for magnetic induction, since it can endure magnetic fields of up to 1,000 gauss.

Watch Description

The Rolex “Pro Hunter Orange Milgauss” is a contemporary, sporty watch with a classical Rolex look. The lightning strike seconds indicator displayed in this version in vivid orange is easily identifiable on the Milgauss. The modern design and unique dial characteristics are enhanced by the bold black dial and robust black Oyster band. In the 1950s, Rolex built the first Milgauss timepiece. This was in response to the collapse of pieces used by scientists and engineers subjected to the electromagnetic field. It’s just as the Rolex Submariner was created to endure contact with deep waters.

The Rolex Milgauss, named following “mille,” the French word for thousand, as well as “gauss,” the standard measure for magnetic induction, is the first wristwatch of its kind. Besides, it can withstand an electromagnetic force of up to 1,000 gausses. The Rolex Milgauss has a lengthy scientific background, and Rolex has worked with CERN (the European Organization for Nuclear Research) ever since its inception.

The Rolex “Pro Hunter Orange Milgauss” also features a unique green sapphire crystal in addition to its magnetic resistance. Rolex first introduced this crystal in 2007, and it is famous not just for its green hue but also for its wear and scratch resistance. The Rolex Milgauss green crystal provides excellent readability, accentuated by the distinctive black dial and odd hour markings. Every hourly indicator is constructed of a luminous substance that glows a soft blue in dim light. The markings at 3, 6, and 9, on the other hand, are orange to complement the watch’s unique second hand. This makes it much easier to tell the time at a glimpse.

The caliber 3131, a self-winding movement known for its precision and accuracy, powers the Rolex Milgauss watch. The blue parachrom hairspring that is thinner compared to human hair and up to 10 times more exact than most other hairsprings is among the most striking features of the caliber 3131.

The striking orange flashing hand and markings on this Pro Hunter “Orange Milgauss” pop underneath the beautiful green sapphire crystal glass. It is coated with PH’s durable black DLC (diamond-like treatment) finishing and fastened with the iconic Oyster bracelet. It also features water resistance to a depth of 100 meters.

A 40mm casing has a diamond-like carbon black finish, a black dial featuring orange pointers, and the MILGAUSS and PRO HUNTER typeface in orange. Casebacks are custom embossed and have an anti-reflective coat (001-100).

The Rolex Oyster Milgauss is an antimagnetic timepiece created by Rolex in 1955. It was devised for people working in power stations and research facilities, where electromagnetic fields can destroy timepieces. (This is where his name comes from.) Only 100 pieces of Rolex “Pro Hunter Orange Milgauss” are available.
