Former president of Ferrari and Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile Jean Todt, is wearing a 40mm Richard Mille RM 27-03 “Rafael Nada Tourbillon” limited to 50 pieces world wide. The red, orange and yellow features are a direct homage to the red clay courts of the Roland Garros and the crown is meant to resemble of a tennis ball. The tourbillon motif dial looks like the horns of a bull, which is Rafael Nadal’s logo.
Some people claim though, that the actual inspiration of the watch is McDonald’s clown character Ronald McDonald.
