The US Open 2024 has officially come to a thrilling end, and we can all say we were left “Sinner-ly” satisfied with the results! A huge congratulations to Italian tennis sensation, Jannik Sinner, for taking home the prestigious men’s championship title. At just 23 years old, Sinner isn’t just a powerhouse on the court – he’s also got serious wrist game, which was on full display during the trophy ceremony.

As the young tennis ace lifted the US Open trophy with the same ease he shows when delivering a blistering backhand, all eyes were not just on the hardware in his hands but also the stunning timepiece on his wrist. Sinner was spotted wearing the Rolex GMT-Master II ‘Rootbeer,’ a watch that exudes both elegance and a little bit of cheeky flavor, much like its name.

Now, we’re not saying that Jannik’s victory was directly linked to the 40 mm stunner on his wrist, but hey, wearing a Rolex in 18-carat rose gold and stainless steel with a black dial might have given him that extra “tick-tock” edge he needed to dominate the court.

This ‘Rootbeer’ GMT-Master II isn’t your average soda-fueled accessory. With its black and brown bezel and two-tone gold and steel construction, it’s the kind of watch that says, “Sure, I can crush serves at 130 mph, but I also appreciate a good vintage drink.” The watch’s functionality, originally designed for pilots crossing time zones, probably came in handy for Sinner, too, as he deftly navigated each set like it was a well-timed journey from one time zone to another.

As the trophy ceremony drew to a close, Sinner smiled, clearly knowing he not only triumphed on the court but also won the style championship. Somewhere in the distance, you could almost hear Rolex themselves giving a slow clap.

Congratulations once again to Jannik Sinner – the 2024 US Open champion and, undoubtedly, the best-dressed man on the court!
