Elvis Presley Omega

This Omega was gifted to Elvis Presley in 1961 by RCA Records to celebrate his sale of 75-million records. It wade sold on an auction in Geneva 2018 for $1,812,500 dollars which makes it the highest price ever paid for an Omega watch. The watch is 18k white gold with a caseback engraved: “To Elvis, 75 Million Records, RCA Victor, 12-25-60. The story behind it is that Elvis was sitting in a restaurant when he was approached by a man who said, “nice watch.” Elvis glanced at the man’s watch, a diamond-set Hamilton, and replied, “I like your watch too. Do you want to trade?” It was in 2018 consigned to auction by the man’s nephew.
