Legendary singer, songwriter, and pianist Sir Elton John is wearing a 45mm Hublot Spirit of Big Bang Yellow Sapphire limited to 100 pieces worldwide.

The movement, visible in the skeletonized dial, offers a power reserve of 50 hours, and this is also the first time in the history of watchmaking that sapphire has been colored yellow.

Hublot debuted its first sapphire-cased pieces with color a year afterward, in 2017, presenting shades of smoky black, red and blue. Hublot has now released the strikingly stunning main color yellow in a sapphire casing, following considerably extra time devoted to development and testing.
