According to an interview with Piers Morgan the other week, Cristiano Rolando stated that he faced criticism and frustrations during his last few months at Old Trafford. After disparaging the club, its coach, as well as the owners, his continued presence there became intolerable.

As a result, the club confirmed a few days ago that Ronaldo would leave Manchester United immediately. In their recent statement, the club stated that the move was mutual. It also thanked him for his enormous contribution throughout his two terms at Old Trafford, during which he scored 145 goals in 346 games, and expressed best regards to both him and his family in the future.

On the other hand, Ronaldo, in his post, stated that upon discussions with Manchester United, both have amicably decided to terminate their contract sooner. He also wrote that his love for the club and the supporters wasn’t going to change. However, he believed the timing was right for him to go on a fresh challenge.

At the moment, Ronaldo and the Portugal national football team are in Qatar for the World Cup. Perhaps, this World Cup might be the legendary football player’s final one.

But despite all these, the legendary Portuguese footballer is never out of the news, both on and off the field. Because of this, he is among the most in-demand public figures on the planet, making him someone with whom Jacob & Co., a renowned jeweler, and watchmaker, couldn’t resist collaborating.

Days ago, Ronaldo posted about a partnership with Jacob & Co. on his Instagram page. In a sponsored post, he said he was thrilled to unveil his collaboration with Jacob & Co, the top watch company in the world.

The Jacob & Co. x CR7 Epic X line features four timepieces made possible by Ronaldo and Jacob & Co. They include the Flight of CR7, which may be ordered with or without baguette diamonds on the bezel, as well as the Heart of CR7, which can also be offered with diamond accents. Cristiano Ronaldo’s initials and standard football jersey number, CR7, serve as his logo.

Flight of CR7 and Heart of CR7: Technical Features

With its skeletonized dial revealing the movement, its balancing rotor at six o’clock, and markers set on a middle bridge that spans two vertical lines, Flight of CR7, inside a 44-millimeter rose golden casing, adopts the Epic X style and structure.

The football player is featured on the left in gold, making one of his signature salmon-like jumps to header a goal. In this instance, it is the Champions League victory for Real Madrid over Manchester United in February 2013.

His initials and the CR7 emblem are in the column on the right. A golden ball conceals the mainspring and chamber of the JCAM45 movement, typically visible at 12 o’clock in an Epic X. Turn the watch around, and you’ll see Ronaldo in his signature stance with his back to the crowd following a goal on the translucent red crystal case back.

Clients can always choose the Heart of CR7 variant in the green and black color scheme if the colors irritate them. With this model, Ronaldo can be seen on the dial pumping his fist in celebration after scoring. Additionally, the 44-millimeter brushed steel casing that protects the Heart of CR7 is waterproof up to 50 meters.

According to Jacob & Co., these two watches’ hues stand in for the red and green of the Portuguese flag. The dials of the Flight of CR7, as well as the Heart of CR7, are offered with 26 baguette-cut white diamonds weighing a cumulative 4.26 carats. They also have sapphire crystals and are made of 18k rose gold.
