With its round case and straight lugs, the Rotonde de Cartier is one of the brands more traditional designs Рwhile retaining many Cartier signature elements. This collection consists primarily of watches with added complications., , The Cartier Rotonde Astromyst̩rieux was introduced at SIHH 2016. In a next-level interpretation of the classic myst̩rieuse watches not only the hands, but also a large part of the movement, seemingly float in space. The case measures 43.5mm across and is made of platinum, with the bezel and lug set with 84 baguette-cut diamonds totaling 2.97 carats, the beaded platinum crown set with a brilliant-cut diamond of 0.14 carats, and the platinum dial set with 120 baguette-cut diamonds totaling 3.64 carats. An additional 37 baguette-cut diamonds totaling 0.85 carats are found on the folding buckle.
