Overall Review

LeBron James is among the best NBA players in history, if not the greatest of all time, surpassing Michael Jordan. He was born in Akron, Ohio, and has risen through the ranks of sports in a nearly two-decades-long career!

Within these last ten years, nobody in the NBA has earned more points than LeBron James, along with the playoffs. He began the decade with a 124th-place finish on the league’s all-time scoring list. At the moment, he is in position three on the all-time scoring chart.

James just turned 37 recently, only a few months after being chosen to the NBA’s 75th Anniversary Team. It’s also a year after being crowned the Associated Press male athlete of the decade for the fourth time, a record-tying feat. Furthermore, he has four NBA titles, four Finals MVPs, four NBA MVPs, 17 All-NBA honors, 17 All-Star honors, the 2003-04 Rookie of the Year award, including three All-Star MVPs to his credit.

The 37-year-old Los Angeles Lakers center was in Paris for the Champions League final; when he watched Liverpool’s “mentality monsters” take on Real Madrid. The Reds were defeated 0-1 by Los Blancos, which was a financial and emotional setback for King James.

James was pictured in the seats of the Stade de France, appearing stoic but unhappy, holding back the tears following the hard-fought match. At the very least, he has his extremely rare timepiece to wipe away his tears. He was spotted wearing a Royal Oak Tourbillon Extra-Thin from Audemars Piguet (ref. 26521OR.SS.1220OR.01).

This 18ct rose gold version of the world-famous luxurious, sporty timepiece has a bezel studded with 32 blue sapphires. It also features 22 blue sapphires in substitution of hourly markers and a huge tourbillon positioned at 6 o’clock.

The piece’s trademark “Tapisserie” dial design has been replaced with a brilliant sunburst “Evolutive” layout. It features a guilloche pattern spread out from the tourbillon, similar to many Royal Oaks with tourbillon movements. It looks very appealing, especially when paired with so many valuable diamonds.

This unusual piece is distinguished by a black ‘Tapisserie Evolutive’ design dial with luminous rose gold markers and ruby hourly markings. Besides, it has a remarkable 72-hour power reserve and has a water resistance of up to 50mm.

This watch also features 18 carats rose gold casing with glare-proofed sapphire crystal as well as the caseback. The case size is 41mm and has a thickness of 9 mm. On the other hand, the bracelet is 18-carat featuring an AP folding clasp.

Generally, LeBron James owns a genuine treasure trove of watches. These range from modest watches, including his Rolex Oyster Perpetual 41 ‘Stella Dial’ to ‘grail pieces’ like the Richard Mille RM 11-03 Automatic Flyback Chronograph.
