About The Watch

Following the successful introduction of the Maestro Premier 2021 Editions, Gerald Charles, a Swiss luxury timepiece company, introduces the new GC3.0 Maestro of the Gerald Genta-designed ultra-thin and chronograph sporting watch into its ongoing collection. It features a new hand-finished manufacturing chronograph caliber.

The Gerald Charles GC3.0 Maestro 3.0 Premier 2021 Edition’s new hand-finished automatic chronograph movement, Caliber GCA3022/12, is a complex ultra-thin Manufacture movement produced in Fleurier, Switzerland. It lacks a date and has three chronograph counters for seconds, minutes, and hours.

It is just 6.07mm thick, including the solid 18-carat gold, bi-directional rotating oscillation weight. In addition, the movement has a 50-hour power reserve which is visible through the sapphire transparent case back, along with the inscription ‘Premier 2021.’

The 40mm Gerald Charles GC3.0 Maestro 3.0 is meant to be a top-performing sports watch and an ultra-thin, lightweight timepiece. In addition, females and males may wear on the wrist across varying dress codes and styles.

The Maestro 3.0 case has been gradually but considerably redesigned with more squared angles, and an overall 40mm fit. The custom-made Chrono pushers have never been seen before. Because their form mimics the case’s rounded edges, they were designed by Maison’s founder, Monsieur Genta. The overall shape, carved from 10 pieces of solid 18-carat rose gold, is meant to rest flat on the wrist and is only 11.5mm deep.

Gerald Charles specialists and experts created a custom mechanism that provided equal pressure around the sapphire crystal’s edge and 100 meters of water resistance, a remarkable engineering feat. A screw-down 18-carat rose gold crown with a finish from Clous de Paris adds even more protection to the watch.

Gerald Charles’ engineers developed the sophisticated geometry of the Maestro Premier Edition 2021 case to achieve this perfect blend of performance and wearability. The new version shares the custom gasket design initially observed in earlier models. This gasket seals the irregularly shaped casing and sapphire crystal, ensuring that the watch can endure pressures encountered at depth.

Furthermore, the 25-piece limited GC3.0-A Chronograph features elevated sides that give the watch a squarer, more octagonal look and more extended, rounded lugs that provide superior ergonomics. It incorporates irregular-shaped pushers which mimic the curves of the case flank, safeguarding and even complementing the characteristic appearance of the Maestro.

The combination of an 18-carat rose gold case, an emerald green dial, and a strap is unique. This Gerald Charles strap is decorated with pyramids on one side and the GC symbol on the other. The strap material is a specialized vulcanized rubber that Maison chose to ensure outstanding water resistance, strength, durability, and wrist comfort.
