AET Remould – Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore ‘Sapphire Lochagos’

Presenting the newest wrist art of AET Remould:

The 10 pieces limited Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Chronograph Offshore ‘Sapphire Lochagos,’ a timepiece that pays tribute to the Spartans, which were the know as the greatest warriors of ancient time.

The 44mm case features an octagonal bezel surrounding an oversized dial with red and yellow details, which were the main colors of Sparta – representing blood and armor. The chronograph rings at 12 and 6 o’clock on the dial intimate the warrior’s shield, decorated with the iconic meander pattern in black and yellow color. The watch is presented on a fluoroelastomer strap.

A German watchmaker, AET Remould, has produced a new wristwatch inspired by the Spartan spirit. The company’s most notable characteristic is that this is the most recent product line. Previously, they primarily restored Richard Mille and Rolex Daytona’s pieces. However, the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore, a luxury timepiece, inspired this one-of-a-kind sculpture.

The latest project, “Sapphire Lochagos,” is the first one in AET Remould’s “Spartan Series.” Sparta can be found in a variety of contemporary art and entertainment works, such as the film “Spartan 300 Soldiers,” the video game “Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey,” and the “God of War” series, all of which are inspired by the Spartan soldiers’ story.

The contemporary Spartan persona is known for its bravery, courage, and masculinity. Furthermore, the large casing size of the Lochagos timepiece perfectly suits this notion. The casing, dial, bezel, and bottom covering of the piece are all sapphire crystals. The visual system is also quite clear, in line with AET Remould’s watch design.

The ‘Lochagos’ has a bright yellow back with red flashes, which matches the dial’s overall design. The AET REMOULD logo and 8 outer screws are visible from the bottom. The crown is steel and sapphire, with the AET REMOULD logo on the crown button.

The dial is decorated with vibrant red and yellow hue graffiti. The red Chrono scale ring on the dial’s edge, the little dial’s side and display, and the conspicuous second hand are all visible. Furthermore, uneven red and yellow graffiti has been placed on various spots on the dial, making it more elastic and attractive.

The edges and hands of all three sub-counters are crimson. The hands are symbolic of Spartan swords as well. The AET Remould emblem has been placed into the center seconds indicator.

The pattern on the little dial’s border at 12 o’clock and 6 o’clock relates to the shield formation of Spartan troops. Spartan shields are characterized as spherical wooden pieces with a diameter of nearly one meter. They also feature a layer of bronze paint on the outside, as well as distinguishing marks created by the troops.

One of the distinguishing elements of a Spartan soldier’s shield is the geometric design on the Lochagos’ small dial. It matches the black and yellow color combination, which radiates a regal air.

Lastly, the limited 10 pieces, dubbed ‘Lochagos,’ are all equipped with fluoro rubber bands in a variety of colors. ‘Lochagos’ evokes Spartan spirit and purpose with its exceptional beauty, reinventing the current Spartan spirit.
