The Perrelet brand was founded by remarkable watchmaker Abraham-Louis Perrelet, credited with inventing the automatic movement that utilizes a rotating rotor that serves as the foundation for all automatic watches today. The brand has undergone different periods of rebranding and continued innovating along the way. The 1995 relaunch saw the release of the Double Rotor caliber that used two rotors with one fixed on the dial side. The Turbine model, which features turbine blades and a lower dial that spins around revealing itself through the blades, followed shortly thereafter has also become synonymous with the brand. Famous now for its Turbine collections, the brand offers a variety of watch designs that feature the spinning fan blades.
