Chopard

Founded in 1860, Louis-Ulysse Chopard is credited with creating magnificent Swiss watches that achieved high status by earning Geneva Seal certification. The Scheufele family obtained the company in the 1960s and continued on the tradition of high quality luxury watch making. Today, it is one of the last family-run watchmaking companies. The independent watch brand is a fully integrated manufacturer that creates its own movements and watches. Popular Chopard watch series include Mille Miglia, inspired by the vintage auto industry; Happy Diamonds, featuring floating diamonds; and the L.U.C. series featuring complicated watches. Due to the merging of Chopard with Scheufele, a family with a history of goldsmiths, the Chopard brand is a leader in the world of sustainably and responsibly sourced gold.
